The dog hair/dander might be enough for some people. Personally, I don't see it as a problem, considering they're supposed to wash the bedding anyway. I reckon if your dog has particularly long or sharp toenails and accidentally rips a sheet or bedspread, this could be a problem. As I say though, I think this is more a CYA issue than any sort of real problem.
