[nagdu] Barking

If other dogs are barking at him, Ben will sometimes give a bark back,
although usually it's more that whine-bark, the one that says I really
want to join in but I'm not allowed. I think he's doing it less and less,
the older he gets.

Echo used to bark at dogs walking by if we were sitting outside having
lunch near the office. Very bad, since there can be aggressive dogs in
that neighborhood. I think that she thought of the space where I was
eating as her territory, sort of, and was going to defend it. I gave her
a sharp correction every time, and after a while she gave it up. Good
thing, as I was afraid one of those dogs would tear her silly head off for
sassing it.

Tryce's fear-barking sounds worrisome to me, but I don't know how to stop
such a thing.

While it would be helpful if Ben would bark when someone bangs on the
door, I think, if I have a choice, that I would prefer no barking to
barking too much.
