Dear All,
I apologize for the cross-posting of this message! I wanted to share with you the release of my latest album of Posi Music Entitled "Little Things". This album will contain the live recording of my performance of "This Land Is Your Land" at the Opening Ceremonies of the 2009 National Federation of the Blind Convention in Detroit. It will also feature my arrangement of "power of the Dream", as well as original compositions, covers of a couple of other friends in the New Thought music genre, and some music in the public domain, such as Morning Has Broken.
I am beginning to set up concerts around the State of Florida, as well as in a few other areas, such as New York, North & South Carolina, and Texas. While in areas where there are NFB Chapters, I would be open to setting up some house concerts to raise funds for the March for Independence, local Chapters, and/or affiliates. If anyone would like the rough track of the title song and be added to my group list, please send me a message off-list to

Fraternally yours,

LOCAL MUSICIAN/ACTIVIST RELEASES POSI MUSIC ALBUM

"My blindness is a gift!" says Marion Gwizdala, a Tampa musician and advocate for the National Federation of the Blind. Through his upbeat attitude and uplifting music , Gwizdala shares a message of empowerment with his audiences. His message is simple, yet complex: "Whether you think you can or you think you can't.you're right!"

So, how is blindness a "gift"? The tall, red headed tenor explains that all of his characteristics are his gifts, but not only his, everyone else's, too! When he asserts that a positive attitude is the key ingredient in overcoming any limitation, people listen to him. When he shares this message through his music, people remember it and it changes the way they think because he proves it in his daily life!

On November 15, Gwizdala will release a collection of empowering, life-affirming music known as "Posi Music". The album, entitled "Little Things", includes original compositions and covers of other New Thought musicians, as well as contemporary arrangements of three songs in the public domain. (The title track and its liner notes, along with a publicity photo is attached to this release.) This special release concert will be held at New Life Unity Church, where Gwizdala serves as Music Director. New Life Unity Church is located at 13540 N. Florida Avenue in Woodfield Square, just north of Fletcher Avenue. The concert will begin at 1 p.m. Proceeds from a love offering during the concert will benefit New Life Unity's building fund.
