[nagdu] Hospital test

How true Tami. I have been known to joke that Belle is driving as soon as we
can get the correct adjustments on the seat for her. You are right about
control as well. Those of us who are what they call "retreads" i.e. having
had more than one dog, can get into some bad habits if we are not careful.

Joy,

We always know we have a designated driver, though, don't we? /grin/ Okay,
so I haven't tried getting really sloshed, but when I was first learning to
turn the lead over to Mitzi and let her do her job, she seemed to appreciate
the effect of those couple of glasses. /smile/ I've also done some near
sleep walking with her a few times, and she does a very good job.

I've pretty well learned to let her do her thing, but I have to remind
myself sometimes to lay off the control. Sigh. Too many years riding
horses, I think. I catch myself using the harness handle like reins for
turns and stuff and have to stop and have a firm talk with myself.

Steve,

I was just teasing. I can relate to not knowing what is going on due to
medical problems and to medication. I also confess, that there have been a
few times when the world was a little less clear than normal after a couple
of glasses. I hope I didn't offend you with my remark as it was certainly
not my intent.

I either plead the 5th, or perhaps resemble that remark! The med is great,
but it is a weird feeling not remembering what the heck the doctor told you
even though you were talking with him. And, that is why it is not a good
idea to use your guide at that point. Believe me, the nurse was equally as
good at guiding as Misha is!
