[nagdu] Dogs and stress

Lora,

Yikes! Well, at least you can now eliminate one source of trouble. I used
to have a super good pet nutritienist down the street, and she only carried
stuff she researched and approved fist. She was also great about answer
questions and giving good information, even if it meant I had to look for
something she didn't have elsewhere. Boy, do I miss her!

Out here, it's Petco or the Feed Store, and I end up doing tons and tons of
research myself before I try something new with the dogs. It took awhile,
but we now have a set of food, training treats, and chews that make
everybody happy and nobody sick. Naturally, it's all the expensive stuff.
/smile/ I did add a new bran of dental chew, so I'm watching. They do a
good job on the teeth, the dogs certainly like them, so we've got two out of
three on those. There shouldn't be any negative health effects, but the DD
and I both watch every move they make and now have a mutually reinforcing
neurosis about any little ear twith that might mean another rround of vet
bills. /smile/

Good luck. Sometimes it can be surprising how eliminating one dietary
element can resolve a host of problems. Or not. You just have to wait and
see. /smile/

FYI guys I figured out that the milk bones I had been feeding my dog were
bad or something in his tummy doesn't agree with it, but I'm thinking the
former because my pet dog got sick also.
