-Sorry for spelling-

A full on scare

Okay so the story for today is....

Walking home from work at are usual traut, we stop to get ready to cross to
take the short way home. I suddenly see Franklin is only standing on 3 legs,

is back right leg, up against his body not wanting to walk on it at all. I
make Franklin lie down so I can feel his paw, to my sight nothing in it.
Though the paw is totally black in color and a bit larger, so its salden. A
Driver of one of the Van taxi stops and asks:

Lady: "Is something wrong?

Sean (replying): "Yes my dog doesn't seem to want to walk."

Lady: "Did he get hit by a car."

At this point I want to say: "No we didn't, we didn't even start our
crossing" I'm wondering or wanting to hear: "Oh dear, do you need a ride to
the Vet?"

Lady: " Well how far do you need to go"

Sean: "Just across the street, but with him not wanting to walk or unable.
Its to dangerous."

Lady: "Can you make it if I walk with you?"

Sean: "Yeah...I guess."

At this we start to walk across the street, Franklin trying to guide/ walk
on all fours, its slow going Franklin really wanting to do his job and guide

me. I can see he's in pain. Once at the Gas Station I walk in, and ask the
Clerk/owner, Sammy, to look at Franklin's paw.

Sammy: "Hmm its salden. So how far do you have to go?"

Sean: "Just across the street."

Sammy: "Oh okay good luck."

Sean: "Thanks"

We leave; Franklin all the while looking at me like, "I'll guide you, but it

hurts, but I'll guide you. (NOTE He's only on leash.)

We get to the grass, Franklin still trying to walk, we stop and I try to
carry him. Jeez he's heavy. I stop after 10 steps and put him down.
Franklin's look was like, "I liked being carried since I'm hurt."

At this point I'm shaking so bad I can't think straight, I get out my cell
phone and look at my contacts list, finally finding a number at someone who
can give a ride to the Vet.

After a talk and confusion she agree to take Franklin to the Vet. Two cars
come into the drive for the Apartments. The guy intros himself as a Vet tech

he looks Franklin over and thinks his knee maybe hurt.

----
At the Vets

Once inside the Vet looks Franklin over and says to me:

Vet: "I think he maybe have gotten bit or stain by a bee or something."

He gives Franklin a shot for the salden paw and pills for the same.

----
Now at home, Franklin is taking his usual nap with his eyes half-open. NOTE
he can walk on all fours, lightly.

More on how he's doing tomorrow
