Well, the dogs always are taught to go on both sides of the street; they 
sometimes develop some fears of traffic coming at them. If they do, it is in 
your best interest to be sensitive to it and try to work it out. And that 
doesn't matter where the dog came from.

Leader does swell training, where we walk on both sides of a street.
At no time do you want to condition your dog thinking it doesn't have
to walk on a set side of street.
You want to be able to go anywhere.
Now if you want to hang on to someones arm healing the dog, down the
block then working the block that I can undrstand.
Just my thoughts.
It is interesting to me how different instructors come up with ideas.
