What are these seminars? 
And, what's the point of making everybody barbecue steaks? I'm not much
of a steak or meat eater. Nothing is less motivating then being made to
cook food you don't want to eat. 
What is the appeal of these seminars?

Wow, things have changed. We didn't have to do either of those things.
Both would be a challenge for me, though grilling the lesser of the two.
