[nagdu] a question stemming from a hot debate

My boy has definitely become my dog, I don't think I've ever had such a
loyal one-person dog. He likes my husband and other friends. He still loves
his trainer and when the trainer has been here for follow-up, I always give
them time together. It's like that dog is seeing his old best friend or
osmething and it's really very touching. Then, he comes back to me and is
content. I don't think  I ever realized how loyal some dogs are until I had
this dog and I didn't realize how they can remember people for a long time.
The first time the trainer came to do follow-up, when we were going to say
good-bye, we were at a restaurant and John came out to the door with me and
Irish looked back at him as we started to walk away and I heard John tell
him quietly it was okay he could go. Later he wrote me an e-mail and told me
it was like as if Irish looked back at him telling him he had things to do
like his loyalty was kind of torn between us. Since then, when John follows
up they have their happy reunion time and then Irish comes back to me and
when we go out to work he is a real show off for his "old boss".

It is so special when they are so loyal.
I know he loves the lady from the vet, where I am still in his site.
I am sure he would get quite upset if he didn't see mama for awhile.
Just the way he is.
