[nagdu] Bus seating

Albert,

There is that! We don't want Jewels scattered all over the bus at all.
/smile/

Or Tamis, thank you very much. I've had some pretty wild rides on public
transit where I envied my poodle her spot under the seat behind and between
my legs! It took me awhile to figure out that just sitting in a moving
vehicle would somehow become more hazardous because I happened to lose my
vision. /lol/ All the bumps and jolts and sudden stops or even the
occasional screeching turn to catch the light are a big surprise all of a
sudden. Very exciting, sure, but some days I just don't appreciate that
much excitement.

Wouldn't that be true where ever the dog was on the bus if in fact there was
an accident? To say nothing of pretty Jules, as I am sure she is not
buckled in either.

Jewel,

Setting aside the allowed part of this, I wouldn't put a guide dog on a bus
seat for the simple reason that it isn't safe. If the bus stops suddenly or

goes over a large pothole or something the dog could easily lose balance and

fall off the seat.
