[nagdu] why do we have to let airlines know that you have a dog

Why should one be consistent? I don't have a dog now, but I may choose
to let a hotel or whatever know about my dog if I've been traveling and
am tired or that hotel has something I really want. If not and I can say
"I'll force them to take me or I'll go someplace else" I may not. Why
the need for consistency?

This is going to be another one of those things that we will have to
agree
to disagree, because it is already in some people's heads to let them
know
or not let them know.

But one should be consistent and to know the laws.
