[nagdu] Guide dogs of the Desert?

Hi Justin,
Just for consideration-
It's been a few years, but I called Guide Dogs of the Desert to inquire
about training. The person I spoke with was loud, rude and verbally abusive
including yelling into my ear as he yelled at a dog during our call! I made
a quick decision to look elsewhere. Glad I did. The Seeing Eye Institute
in NJ has been the best experience I could have imagined.

Hi Justin.
Guide Dogs of the Desert (GDD), is a very small school. That means their
applicants have to wait longer for a class date than applicants to a big
school like GDB.
GDD trains the usual suspects, like labs, and also trains some poodles.
That's all I know.
