I'd argue too that the kid was probably being abused. Maybe not by Mama,
but by somebody.

Good grief! I'm glad Maxx wasn't badly hurt. And I'm glad the police
respond to things like that!

Sadly, that sort of cruel behavior towards animals is not cultural or
ethnic. Some people simply enjoy inflicting pain and injury on anything
living that they can. Ugh!

I actually last year, had a little boy and I am not mentioned races here
at
all, come up to Maxx and kick him, and his mother laughed and said to
stop
it.

I told the lady that my dog is not a toy or something to go around
kicking,
and that animals such as mine who is a guide dog or another other dog in
the

state of New York, especially in Suffolk county.

Because 2 summers ago someone tied up a dog about 2 blocks from my house
and

burned it alive.

The person was found and put in jail.

So in New York State and especially Suffolk County, any harm that comes
to
any dog, is a big fine and can be arrested.

Of course I explained it so she could understand it, and of course went
on
to say so what he is a little boy and doesn't know better. I said well
if
someone kicked her son for know reason and it hurt it would be okay
then.

She called me some 4 letter words I called the police and she of course
took

off, but the police came and maxx limped for the day, but he was okay.
