[nagdu] STILL DEFIANT: Disabled vet plans to sueBigYSupermarketover ban (video)

Hi Cheryl E.,
Alot of people who are totally blind from birth have trouble in opening
their eye lids. Because they have never seen, they have never had any reason
to open their eyes and the lids become atrophied. Some have eyes that look
white and filmy due to eye conditions.

You used to have normal sight until you lost your sight as an adult. Your
eyes and lids have learned to open and close normally and your eyes move
normally as your body "remembers" how the lids and eyes worked while
sighted. Does this make sense?

I have one eye whose lid has become stretched due to many surgeries on that
eye. I also have minimal sight - colors and movement only - in that eye from
birth. My other eye, the one with the best sight, has a normal lid.

Lyn and Landon
