Oh and my friend with the mobility disability is finding it incredibly
disheartening that there is no large user based group for people with
physical mobility disabilities and service dogs as there is here with NAGDU.
She has searched high and low for a user group this organized and well run
and nothing even remotely exists for her or others.  So there is no large or
even small organized effort to try to educate people and possibly put
pressure on programs like CCI to change their policies.  The fact that user
groups such as NAGDU exist are incredibly helpful for people with vision
disabilities and there really are not any other groups like it in existence
for people with other types of disabilities in part due to that while many
people have mobility or other physical disabilities there is rarely one
unifying thing about them other than that broad base "mobility disability"
category and within that category things are incredibly varied and diverse
that it is difficult to pull people together under a common goal such as
NADGU does.
