Ginger, we all really thank you for sending this info and for always sending
interesting stuff.

I understand what is being said, but my experience is that none of these
guys ever want to provide documentation because they don't want to be
considered disabled.

Usually people who claim dog allergies in relation to guide dog are,
frankly, just being butt holes, to use a somewhat vulgar term.

Then, among those I've met with real allergies, they are usually people who
are considerate and might keep their distance.
Most of the so-called dog allergies are reactions which though, certainly
not pleasant, aren't qualified as a disability.
Of course, as I've said before, one of this truculence on my part helps
Alicia with her situation.
When I've found people with allergies, people who keep harping on it I just
say I'm sorry they're going through it or whatever, no implication about me
doing something.

Another query: has the amount of dog allergies and other allergic reactions
increased recently or are people all of the sudden discovering dog allergies
when they have to deal with us, real or fictitious?
When I was working I remember once there was an office luncheon. Only one
out of eighteen of my lovely co-workers was willing to offer transport.
All of the other s said just no, or usually claimed dog allergies or an
allergy in their family.
I personally think they were full of dog you know what--smile--but I felt it
better just to let them debate it among themselves and see who my true
friends were.
Apparently there was only one--smile
