Bob,

When it comes to harnessing up, our two-dog problem gets really challenging.
Daisy is convinced that wearing the harness to go out is the best thing
ever!  So when Mitzi is standing by the door waiting for me to put on her
harness, Daisy will run to shove her out of the way so that she can get the
harness!  So now I randomly harness Mitzi in whichever room we can find the
space and peace, before it's time to leave.  Then I have to run around
gathering up my stuff with Mitzi holding position at my right leg and Daisy
running around doing her song and dance.

The past few months, Daisy has finally found peace with the notion that once
I get the harness on Mitzi, Daisy will just have to live with the fact that
we're going out without her, so she goes onto her dad's bed with a big sad.
The guilt waves emanating throughout the house are hard to take, but at
least I can make it out the door with my wits unscrambled.  /grin/

Hi Ioana.  My wife's Boxer is not a dog guide, so this is not exactly what
you are asking, but Amos has not picked up on such bad habits.  Magnum barks

at everything that moves, but has not picked up on that one.  When Amos is
out of harness, they run and play like any two kids, but still comes when he

is called and is all business while in harness. hth
