GDF does a Trekker class with grads. I believe one has to have been 
partnered with their current dog for at least six months before this is an 
option though.

My dog is not from TSE but she will follow if I ask her to.  Well I
should qualify this; she will follow if it is safe, in her opinion, to
do so.  She's an independent Doberman and the follow cue was actually
one of the hardest things for her to learn.

I've used a GPS with my dog and it was pretty easy.  I think that the
Guide dog Foundation and Leader Dogs both teach the GPS to their
grads. I'm not positive, though.
