Good evening everyone,

And holler "Fire" at the top of your lungs! Self defense and rape crisis
management organizations recommend that one use the word "Fire" when they
feel they're being threatened or attacked.

Kolby,
There MUST be some kind of legal action you can take against those PETA
people? They are directly endangering you and your safety - not to mention
the threats and harrassment which violates a few laws. Can they be banned
from the campus or do you encounter these idiots on the streets in town?

At any rate it looks like legal action is in order.

Too bad I couldn't show you some self defence tecniques to use against these
idiots - to keep them arms length away from you and your dog so they can't
unhook your dog's leash. If they are coming to harrass you, yell VERY
LOUDLY, "GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!!" and put your hand up and straight out
towards them with your palm facing them. Make sure your body is facing them
squarely, look them firmly in the eye - yes, blind folks can do this. Like
the "Stay" command we learn at guide dog school. Make a real big scene -
you want to attract attention from passersby. If there's no passersby,
you're in a more secluded place, avoid this. If you can't, then you may
have to travel with other people for your safety.

Where are the Campus Police? You have the right to safety - this is just
like when women are harassed by guys. Bottom line, Kolby, this behavior is
totally UNACCEPTABLE and you need to make it stop before something happens
to you and they are successful in taking Sunny away from you and you're left
alone on a street without a mobility aide.

PETA folks are a real danger and they don't fool around. Members of this
group have bombed labs and have killed people and have had animals escape -
many of the sort that would pose a phsycal or medical threat to people and
pets. They are zealots who have no caring at all for people or animals. I
have heard that they actually kill more animals in their shelters than
regular shelters do! They are extremists who don't give a crap about the
welfare of animals - they just use animals to further whatever agenda they
have and it isn't pretty - no more than the Operation Rescue folks who bomb
clinics or murder doctors who perform abortions.

Kolby, take this seriously and do something about it NOW! I wish you and
Sunny well.

Regards,

Lyn and Landon
