Albert,
Since you got your guide in New York and live in the same state, GDF
probably provided the state's form. I assume each state has a specific form
for this purpose, if they provide such an exemption, as sales taxes are
collected by and provide revenue for each state. I wouldn't be able to file
for a tax exemption in NY and use it in Florida and vice versa.
