Ooh! Special off leash dog beaches! I'll be knocking at your front door
just as soon as I find my teleporter to get down there. /grin/ Good old
San Diego!

Hi Dan,
I know that here in San Diego, a guide dog can be on the beach ON leash and
IN HARNESS. Of course, if your dog poops on the beach, it MUST be picked up

and thrown away. Sometimes the Beach Patrols have come by and questioned me

on my dog's presence and then they realized it is a guide and they were fine

with that.

We do have several Dog Beaches in town. These are the ONLY beaches where
the dogs may run free and play. But, people are responsible for picking up
after their dog.

Do they have Dog Beaches in Florida? They are much like dog parks were the
dogs are pretty well socialized and there are hardly any fights to speak of.

I think the biggest problem is when the dogs drink seawater, they puke their

brains out! (grin!) Bring PLENTY of fresh water for your dog to drink!
