[nagdu] A White New Year...

Hi AnnaLisa,
Ahh! the snow!! I grew up in snow country - a native New Englander who has
transplanted to sunny San Diego, CA! When I lived in Vermont, my dog just
LOVED the snow. She'd jump off the front porch, race around and then plow
her head into the snowbanks. then she'd roll and roll and get clean! It
was so fun to see her have fun that way.

I remember the cold days working my dog and how frisky she was. When I
visited Vermont this past Fall, we had some quite chilly days and Landon was
very frisky! I do miss going out in a snowstorm and hearing the flakes
hitting the trees - it was so quiet out that you can actually hear it snow!
I remember how muffled everything sounds - not too good when you have to
hear cars to cross a street.

I've been here in San Diego for almost 21 years now and I've gotten thinner
blood like the natives. Today, it's supposed to be in the mid to upper 60s
and it is sunny out. Last night, we had a great full moon. I am glad that I
am here for my arthritis's sake!

Happy New Year!

Lyn and Landon
