Hi Ioana,
DO NOT BLAME YOURSELF!!!  You did nothing wrong!  It was just one of those 
things that Adrian didn't work out as a guide.  It is wonderful that you can 
still keep him as a pet!  Does he get along with other dogs?

I'm glad it looks like you will be back in class in a few months if not 
sooner.  Wishing you the best of luck.
