[nagdu] Guide dogs and airport security

Wow! And I thought the pair that ended up deciding to start snapping on
latex gloves to do a cavity search of my guide dog pushed the limits...
Well, in that instance, the snapping of the latex and the absolute shock
that they could even *think* that sort of thing would be necessary snapped
me out of my cooperative stupor. I didn't even have to stand up to look the
super tall guy of the snapping gloves in the eye and give him The Look.
While brushing off the female guard who didn't want said suspcious cavity
dog anywhere near her while she was still fussing over me looking for
whatever it was we must be trying to sneak past them. /lol/

I had always been of the belief that simply cooperating with airport
security was the course of reason ... So that changed on the spot!

Complete destruction of guide dog harness tops the cavity search proposal,
though. Good grief!

Glad you took them on and won!

Just after 9/11 in the Philadelphia airport they took my guides
harness apart. Stitching and all so I could not harness her up. I
talked to my local chapter and they called are state president who
sued the airport and won. Please contact our PA president James
Antonacci.
