[nagdu] any suggestions for cleaning ears?

Albert,
You might want to let the vet have a look. It is possible your dog has an
infection.

Following that, here's what I do:
I have a bottle of half & half vinegar and water. It has a nozzle on the
end, b/c it came with ear rinse in it originally.
A couple of times per week, I squeeze some into the ear, and rub the ear
between my fingers for 30-60 seconds. Then I let go of the ear, and Rhoda
shakes it out.
I do this outside by the way, cleaning both ears in the same manner.

Then we come in, and I give her an Iams Tartar Control chew, which she
loves, to sort of pay her back for the cleaning of the ears, which she is
not wild about.

The damp cloth with vinegar-water, or perhaps a baby wipe, might work in the
winter, but in the summer, you really need to get the vinegar solution down
into the ears and clean them well.

HTH.

Susan & Rhoda

Subject: [nagdu] any suggestions for cleaning ears?

My lab has been shaking his head regularly. I have been cleaning his ears
but fear I need more then a dampened cloth with vinegar and water. Does
anyone have any suggestion for a homeopathic remedy for ear cleaning or
yeast reduction? Thanks.
