Again, I checked the website and I gave the advice.  I suggest the 72 hours 
but if there are circumstances that you cannot do it, then contact the vet 
up to a week before departure.

I have not had issues getting the information on guide dogs for others prior 
to cruising.

A week before should be fine.

I wouldn't give the advice without the knowledge of it, or double check with 
your own vet.
