Dear Ed,

The last issue of The Navigator included the following
announcement:

The Seeing Eye: At the Conventions

Once again, The Seeing Eye will be well-represented during the
two major consumer conventions of the summer: the National
Federation of the Blind conference in Dallas, July 3-8, and the
American Council of the Blind conference in Phoenix, July 9-17.

This year, we will return to having a Seeing Eye booth in the
exhibit hall at each conference, but will not be hosting graduate
breakfasts. Graduates can visit the booth to request a meeting
with an instructor and to check out new Seeing Eye merchandise.
Items will be on display for the first few days of each
conference and can be ordered for home delivery.

The number of Seeing Eye staff at each conference will be at its
peak during the first few days in each venue, so if you need to
speak to someone, be sure to visit the booth early in the week.

Staff members attending the NFB convention will be Jonathan
Schrauer, Kristen Lake, Kris Schmidt, Lukas Franck, and Chelsea
White. Those at ACB will be Robert Torrance, Chris Mattoon, Drew
Gibbon, Lukas Franck, and Jay Stiteley. President & CEO Jim
Kutsch, Director of Instruction & Training Dave Johnson, and
Senior Manager of Marketing Pepper Bynum also will attend at
least one day of each conference.
