Gail,
I wouldn't do the sleepshade thing alone right now. It's probably best to 
have someone a short distance away from you to bail you out if you get in 
trouble.  Hey, even the guide dog trainers have a trainer with them when 
they do the sleepshade walks with the dogs they train. (grin!)
