Hi Rachel,
My friend, who told me about Comforis, said that it did great on killing 
fleas but did NOT kill ticks. She said that some people used both something 
like Advantix along wioth the Comfortis.

For me, ticks aren't too much of a concern - we have very few of them here 
in our climate. But there's TONS of ticks in New England and other hot, 
humid places.
