GDF

I thank you for choosing to use some of my thoughts and words going forward.
seems like you and I have gone around a circle or two our selves. I really
respect mike absolutely and if I may be candid would suspect his ability to
be as impactful as he could be most certainly might have been stifled at the
gdf. He is a remarkable man and I feel better for having known him. that
being said, if I may, I would like to do a little bragging. I have been
selected as one of 120 regional finalists chosen for consideration for a
white house fellowship. I am excited to say the least. Keep your fingers
crossed as I am drafting and redrafting writings to be submitted by tomorrow
9 a.m. I found out Saturday morning and have so much to do. i will be on
pins and needles until the next waive of the competition on the 5th and 6th
of April. keep your fingers crossed.

Albert J. Rizzi, M.Ed.
CEO/Found out this Saturday morning and need to submit to extremely
shortened versions of the nearly 18 pages I initially submitted and a photo
in professional attire. I hired a photographer yesterday and am waiting on
the photos today. I can hardly wait for the 5th and 6th of april. please
keep me in your prayers. I so hope to be able to be right there on the hill
and the white house having the ear of all who will listen about braille in
the schools, accessibility on the inter net and intra nets and how to help
those of us on disability move slowly off it and into gainful employment
with the ability to access any and every work environment from their desks
in the careers of their choice.iif nothing else comes from this moment other
then the honor and privilage of being considered I will be happy. But you
know I have my sights set high and I have already pulled out my tuxedo just
in case I have a white house ball to go to.

Albert,
Let me first say that, although I didn't respond directly to every
message concerning my letter to the editor, I was very impressed with some
of what you said in an earlier post and intend to use some of your thoughts
and words in a larger article I intend to write on the subject. Of course, I

will give proper credit for when doing so!
Any guesses on my part as to where Mike will end up or what he will be
doing would be conjecture, pure and simple. That being said, he does have
ties to the Tampa Bay area, where I live. His mother lived in Sun City
Center, (just south of Tampa) and I believe his ex-wife, Jan, and his kids
might still live in the area, too. His girls are in their early 20s now, so
they may be off at college or relocated out of the area.
I hope Mike continues to do something in the guide dog training arena,
as he has been a very influential person in this movement! He is only 58
years old and seems to be in very good health, so I feel he could still
continue to shape the industry!

Fraternally yours,
Marion
