Hi Wayne,

I'm catching up on some mail here and wanted to respond to what you said
about the Tom Sullivan novel, "Together,: a Shared Vision." There were
parts of the story I didn't like much, like how the protagonist is made out
to be this blind super hero after he gets his dog, how his dog solved all
his problems. But there is a lot of realism in it too, about how the guy
has to come to terms with suddenly being blind, how he and the dog were
definitely NOT a match made in heaven at first, and losing a girlfriend
because she couldn't deal with his blindness. It's also interesting how he
returned to mountain climbing after he went blind, and how they worked it
out so his dog could help guide him up the mountain. All around I think
it's worth the read.
