So that I understand the focus of the program it is to perfect independent
cane travel and also to strengthen other senses which would ultimately
compliment your abilities as a guide dog user?

Hi Cheryl,
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the Louisiana Center, Colorado Center,

and BLIND Inc. allow students to work the dog to and from the center, all 
evenings, and weekends, but the student must use the straight cane from 
8-4:30 during classes.
