Welcome Brenda!

I'm Julie, one of the moderators.  I am working with Monty, my owner trained 
Lab/Boxer mix.

I think if your vision loss is enough that you are using a cane it's enough 
to use a dog.  I think quite a few of the guide dog programs, if not all, 
take anyone who is legally blind who could benefit from a guide dog.
