[nagdu] places a guide dog can't go

With private schools, I think they couldn't say to Joey's mom "You have
a guide dog, you can't have the dog while you're on the premaces" nor
could they not admit Joey because his mom has a dog.
Is that what you're asking Julie?
I think they can set whatever standards they want for educational
qualifications and admissions, but they cannot discriminate on staff or
students based on disability or any kind of accomidation.
I work in an area that is not open to the general public and my dog was
never an issue.
One other area to consider are the commercial kitchens, though I've
worked in some and again my dog wasn't an issue, though I chose to not
have her in there as they get very hot and there tends to not be a lot
of room. I was worried someone would trip over the dog.

Hmmm, not sure. they definitely wouldn't be if they participated in the

government hot lunch program or got any other government money. I'll
have
to think more on it.

Thanks!
Julie
