I'm not interested in participating in this program, but why do they
want parents with guide dogs? Why the guide dog angle?
My take if anybody cares as that this kind of like John and Kate. And,
we all know what a train wreck their marriage has become
I also worry this documentary could take on the flavor of PBS
documentaries such as The 1900 House and Frontier House which gave an
impression that the makers of the show probably did not intend to give.

Thanks Stephen. Never really left, just had nothing to say or comment
on. I
would suggest to all on these lists, that before forwarding these types
of
potentially bogus notices on to others, we do our due diligence in
qualifying the validity of what they are purporting to do or offer prior
to
sharing with others.

I am not sure if this legit as I have seen this in at least 3 or 4
states
now including Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois plus this one. I am
leery,
and unless anyone else can prove me wrong, I believe it is spam.

Dear Margo:

My name is Becky Hayes and I am a casting director at Left/Right, an
award-winning television production company based in New York City. We
are
currently developing an inspiring new documentary series about
sight-impaired families who are currently living with guide dogs.

The series will highlight the unique rewards and challenges experienced
by
families living with visual handicaps, and specifically by those who are
living with guide dogs. We are particularly interested in hearing from
families and individuals in your network who would be open to sharing
about
how their guide dogs have changed their lives, as well as from those who
are
preparing to begin the journey of working with guide dogs. Most
importantly,
we are looking for compelling stories to tell from within the
sight-impaired
community. Our deadline for submissions is Monday, October 4th.

Left/Right is a nonfiction television production company that
specializes in
telling real stories about extraordinary people. Our recent series run
the
gamut from the Emmy-winning Showtime documentary series This American
Life,
to VH1's formidable competition show I Want to Work for Diddy, to the
dramatic new HGTV home makeover series Battle on the Block.

If you are interested in learning more about Left/Right, we encourage
you to
visit our website: http://www.leftright.tv/. I am also available to
answer
any questions you may have, and can be reached at bhayes at leftright.tv.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Becky
