  Cheryl, I don't think anyone meant to offend you. No one targeted you in
  particular. Nor am I trying to come down on you.  

  As guide dog users we have different ways of doing things. As well as
  different opinions on what is right and wrong. And that is what this thread
  was all about. And for that matter, no one should feel like they can't
  express themselves, because they think they are going to offend someone.
  This list is all about sharing. Lets all just take a *deep breath*

  Being someone who is a travel professional and a guide dog user. I am here
  to help and not to be jumped upon for helping.

  It is getting very tiring to post something and then get ripped about for
  doing so.

  I purposely went into this field to help others like ourselves.

  I will be sitting in the wings, but very concerned about posting things
  again, I have left 2 other NFB lists, because of the rudeness of others on
  them.

    There is nothing wrong with expressing your opinion and I like you take
    serious reservation and contemplation before responding with my opinion

    and say that I prefer to sit in bulk head and also like to alert hotels

    such to the presence of my guide so he will not be a complication for
  house
    keeping, or let me say a surprise in the event I leave him in the room. I
    have yet to have any complications or refusal of service ever.

    Well, I think each of us who has traveled a lot has a different way of
    dealing with it, or somewhat different. I think really that at the end of
    the day it is what ends uup making you the most comfortable. I don't think
    there are necessarily right or wrong answers on these kinds of questions.
