Earlier today I went to the movies with some friends, including Bernie's
best friend, Landon. Behind us sat a family that included a very well
behaved young child, perhaps a quiet toddler. Without my consent, the child
was allowed to play quietly with Bernie. It was his wiggles that initially
clued me in to the quiet happenings. The movie theater was not the place to
politely confront the parent. It ticked me off that my service dog became
the "passafire" for the wrestless child. I re positioned Bernie away from
the stealth child and self centered parent. By the way, go see, Soul Surfer.
It's a movie about overcoming adversity; something most of us can relate to.
And it's about integrity; something most of us strive for.
