I never put down most of the accredited dog schools because I've seen dogs that are great from most of them.  I myself went to Pilot.  I had heard lots of bad things about it as well as most of the other schools.  It was great!  And No, my dog doesn't poop in harness or stop in the middle of the road!  She really would like to get one of those squirrels though!  I have also seen many dog teams from every school that don't work well so the comments about my friend were towards his charictor than any schools training.  The school they went to was Seeing Eye so most of us would aggree that is a good school!  
Intelligence is always claimed but rarely proven!
