Hi Chantel:

Really, as long as a person has done their research, picking a school is a very personal thing. In Vancouver (canada) where I live everyone generally goes to GDB or goes to the local school that does home training. I chose to go to a school that had a negative reputation however, I know that what others think and what my experiences might be will be different. In the end, I'm not 100% sure I'd go back there again the next time I need a dog but I will want a poodle again I'm sure so will be limited by which schools have poodles. To get the poodle in a timely matter I for go other issues that bothered me to some degree such as ownership and a few other policies my school has. HOwever, I've also learned that the dog they gave me is smartt, loyal and willing/able to learn much more. So the training and partnership continues to develop long after you leave any school.

Good luck and let us know how it is going when you're in the program.

Gary
