Last time when I was there, they weren't training anymore Viszlas from what 
a trainer told me.
They were having trouble with finding Viszlas that would have a good 
temperment for guiding.
That was probably six or seven years ago when I trained with my second guide 
dog but the first one through Pilot, a male black lab named Freedom.
Of course, I added a middle name on to him which happened to be Freedom 
David Berry for his whole name.
Odie has one as well: Odie Harley Davidson.
I did ask about the Viszlas during training class.
Breeds they mentioned were labradors, goldens, german shepherds, dobermans, 
boxers and standard poodles.
Another friend of mine who went there back in January to train with another 
guide dog ended up with a labrashepherd mix.
I wonder if they are doing mixed breeds just to try out or if it will be 
permanent?
