[nagdu] Dogs Unwrapping Their Presents

Nicole,

Well... Having known many individuals of both species over the years of
my long-legged life, I do believe your statement is inherently untrue.

It's not that cats don't know it's wrong. It's that they just don't care!

Which does add to my suspicions that my poodle is not so much a wolf in
sheep's clothing as a cat in a wolf in sheep's clothing. /lol/ If she
does something bad, it's not because she forgot or didn't know or was
trying to get away with it. If DD or I catch her in the act, she will
look us in the eye, grin, flip us off and just keep right on doing what
she's doing until we get to her to stop her or she is done. She will
then put herself on restriction to think about what she has done
wrong... I am not making that up. /lol/ By now, DD and I will say her
name sternly in unison, repeat it, then just look at each other and
shrug when she quits and goes into her room to spend some time alone
being quiet until she's ready to come out and behave.

Apparently, that's kinda a poodle thing. They will get themselves in
trouble not to rebel or challenge your authority or something, but
because they just want to have fun with you. /lol/ What do you do with a
dog like that? /lol/

She is absolutely delightful and is doing a good job of teaching the
puppy the art of constructive trouble making. Very funny.

Tami
