[nagdu] feeling stuck

My training center does allow guide dogs because I've asked about it when I
applied. I will call them and see what they say tomorrow but I just don't
know what I would do if they tell me I cannot get one since the training is
a commitment. I will definitely explain to them everything. Cindy, my
mobility skills are wonderful and I don't need Braille training but I'm
mainly there for the technology aspect. Leah, thanks for the advice too, but
I don't much like technology and therefore I wouldn't feel motivated to
learn it on my own haha. Also I need to know excel and power'point and the
alike so I thought getting lessons on that would help me. I want to know all
of the above by the fall because that's when I will be attending college and
I don't want to fall behind because I don't know my technology.
Thanks everyone for all the suggestions and I really appreciate it! I guess
I'm freaking out because the training center may say no, and I don't think I
can drop the training because that will look bad on my part when working
with department of rehabilitation.

Well, the only way you can know if you can get out of the training for now
is to ask them. Does this center require you to take mobility courses and
the like? Do you have good mobility skills? I guess in the end you just have
to weigh which is the most important to you and how soon you could get back
into training. You would be gone from there for quite a while. How
disruptive is that going ton e for you? Good luck with whatever you decide.
