[nagdu] feeling stuck

Thanks Tami! I'm planning on doing that. Getting the poodle is definitely
very important and it is sort of rare so like some of you have said, it
might be a long while when I'll have another chance. I'm just thinking ahead
and I'm thinking that if they refuse my request and I go train with the
poodle anyway, then I won't be allowed back to the program... lol

Hannah,

I would hope that a straight forward approach to explaining your recent
acceptance for a rare breed of guide dog to the proper person at the
training center would result in your having no conflict in taking time to
get the dog and then continue your course at the training center.

If it were me, I would remind myself that the training center course is
going to be there again, where as the poodle might not be, and that you have
a time line to work within in order to pursue your goals for education and
future employment.

Whether the training center person will see it that way is not a given,
but... You are the one responsible for making the right choices for you, and
you also have the right to make the right choices for you.

So my advice is to tell the training center you are going to get you a
poodle and will be back when you've got it. /smile/

Good luck, and let us know what you decide and how it goes.

Poodles rock! /grin/

Tami
