Julie, I just sent out the Fair Housing Amendments Act Q&A...very good.
However, we always need to keep in mind that State housing laws may provide
more protections, so always check those first.  Housing laws are generally
found under one's States Equal Rights, Civil Rights or similar division.

Is there a difference in FHA rules in regard to a landlord that only has one

or two houses to rent vs. the large corporation that has many apartment 
complexes?

My memory is only recalling that places like Bed and Breakfast 
establishments or people who rent out a room to a boarder are exempt under 
the FHA.  Even in these instances the proprietor of the establishment must 
live on the premises and there must be under a certain number of rooms to be

rented.

Your wisdom on this matter is muchly appreciated!
