[nagdu] the dog cut me off

Dan, that is weird. I'd have to echo others on here and say that cutting
you off by crossing across your right side is only acceptable if you're at
the edge of a drop off like a train platform.

If he's doing this and you know for sure there's not a drop off, then it
sounds like there's a distraction in progress. You may have inadvertently
gave him positive reinforcement to continue this behavior if you didn't know
what was going on.

If you can't tell what's going on with the gentle leader, then call your
school and ask for advice. The idea of pushing him to the left with your
knee is also good, but remember that gentle leader will make giving him a
traditional leash correction an iffy proposition. I wonder if it's not
fitting properly, because presumably you'd feel him looking to the right
before he made the lunging move.

Lisa

Forget about great wealth, fame and being physically fit. Just give me lots
of chocolate and blissful ignorance and leave me alone."
