Welcome,Will and Rebecca. I am Mardi,and I am working my third guide dog
Shaman. All of my dogs have been trained with the help of a Private
Trainer.I use my dog from a wheelchair. My first and second dogs were
Siberian Huskies.Huskies make wonderful wheelchair guides.When I was trying
to find a dog to train so that Nala could retire,I was unable to find
another Husky that was right for the job. I expanded my search and found
Shaman, a Belgian Tervuren. He is a long hair shepherd and has become a
wonderful guide dog.I live in Tucson Arizona,where cold is pretty warm
compared to many other places. But when it is hot, it is really HOT! I hope
you enjoy this list as we are a lively bunch.If you are interested about the
