Thanks all. I'd be happy to demo the KnfbReader Mobile in the area and come
in early if anyone is interested.

The event sounds like a fun one. I am looking forward to speaking
especially this year, the tenth anniversary of the happenings of 9-11.

Best,

Mike, congratulations on being recently named one of the top ten
educational speakers in the United States by the Innovators
Speakers Network.

9/11 survivor will speak at Heroes breakfast

All it takes is the month and day. Not even the year is necessary
to evoke images in the minds of most Americans - 9/11.

We remember the images that we saw that September morning on our
television screens and the feeling as we watched the scene unfold
over and over again. Together, we discovered hour by hour, day by
day, as the dust settled the true impact of what had occurred.

As spectators, we can visualize the television footage, but what
was it like for others, especially for those that were inside the
World Trade Center towers that day? We hear the accounts of those
that made it out to safety. The chaos and uncertainty they had as
they descended each floor. It is hard to imagine, unless you were
there.

Michael Hingson and his guide dog Roselle were among those
working in the World Trade Center, experiencing the terrorist
attacks first-hand. Through a remarkable demonstration of trust
and teamwork, Michael and Roselle escaped from the 78th floor of
Tower One moments before it collapsed.

On Wednesday, March 30, Hingson will be the guest speaker for the
fifth annual American Red Cross Clinton and Highland County
Heroes Awards Breakfast at the Roberts Centre, located off the
Interstate 71/U.S. Route 68 interchange north of Wlmington.

As a WTC survivor and Guide Dog user, Hingson was thrust into the
International limelight. He and Roselle have since become
well-known representatives of the strength of the human/animal
bond, as well as the life-affirming power of trust and teamwork,
highlighted in many media interviews and public presentations.

As an internationally acclaimed public speaker, Hingson has
traveled the world speaking on topics such as developing one's
personal inner strength, turning the tables on terrorism and
heroism to overcome whatever challenges we face. He was recently
named one of the top ten educational speakers in the United
States by the Innovators Speakers Network.

Prior to forming The Michael Hingson Group, Inc. in 2008,
Hingson's career spanned nearly 30 years in senior sales and
management for high tech, innovative companies. Most recently, he
worked as the National Public Affairs Director for Guide Dogs for
the Blind.

Hingson is a former member of the California State Guide Dog
Board. In November 2008, he was appointed a National Ambassador
for the Braille Literacy Campaign of the National Federation of
the Blind.

An Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, Hingson earned his
master's degree in physics from the University of California at
Irvine and is a lifetime member of the Physics Honors Society,
Sigma Pi Sigma. He is an authority on assistive technology and an
advocate for empowering people with varying abilities.

Hingson and his wife Karen live in the San Francisco Bay area
with three yellow Labs: hero dog "Roselle," now retired; Africa,
his seventh guide dog; and Africa's mother, Fantasia. A feline
named Sherlock is also a member of the household.

On March 30, the doors at the Roberts Centre will open at 7 a.m.,
and Red Cross Heroes Awards Breakfast will start at 7:30 a.m.

Money raised through the Heroes Campaign supports critical
disaster relief, assistance to military families, carbon monoxide
and smoke detectors, and lifesaving courses that teach CPR, first
aid and the use of the automated external defibrillator.
