[nagdu] Following attack, Williamsburg directs owner to curb dog's aggressive behavior

Hi Tami,
Oh, yes, the two dog attack cases are being taken very seriously here.  The 
two women who owned the pit bulls that attacked the 75 year old woman are 
being charged for the incident.  Don't know the exact charges but they will 
have their day in court!

The one in Carlsbad is still in progress.  There was a picture of the man on 
the skateboard with the Lab/Shepherd cross that was taken on a serveillance 
cam on the business the incident took place near.  He has not been caught or 
identified yet - but he will!

Yeah, it is a shame that these dogs must pay the price with their lives but 
I understand why it must be this way.  Many of these dogs cannot really be 
rehabbed to a degree of trustworthiness.  The pit bulls put that woman in 
the hospital with serious injuries and her life will never be the same - 
asuming she makes it.  the Carlsbad incident, I heard the other night, the 
small dog owner also got bitten in the attack that killed her dog.

I realize that euthanasia must be resorted to when neccesary - public safety 
is a soound reason to do this.  If people only socialized and trained their 
dogs in the first place...sigh!
