[nagdu] Welcome home from convention

For those who missed it was wonderful. 

I just wanted to find out if Marion has the contact information to the TSA people, because I had issues at Orlando, a TSA Agent named Rock, who insisted that I let go of my dog and walk through to the security, I said no way, I asked for a supervisor and he said that no one was around to talk to, and that I was being difficult.

I was finally able to get through with Maxx at a sit stay while I walked through and then maxx walked through, I had never had an issue before, but I am sure others have had in the past, it just caught up to me.

Another thing, I was elected President of the Travel and Tourism Division, in the past there hasn't been much that has gone on there, but from now one there will be I plan on having a link to NAGDU and the Hotline once our website is up and running. As well as other things as well.

Again, had a great convention, Maxx, did really well, and so did the rest of your dogs that came.  I was out one night by the pool and directed some of you to the correct area for the box, some where kind about it, some well, were not and told me that the hotel told them that this was the place to go, that was the hotels fault.

I any case can't wait to see you all next year.

  My name is Brianna.
  I was just wondering what guidedog schools have people attended, what
  your experience was like, and about the program?
  I've applyed to Freedom Guidedogs, however, it's been a year and they
  still don't have a dog for me and they don't know when they'll have
  one.
  I'm looking into other schools.  It's hard to choose which one is the
  right fit for you.  I'd be going in the summer time as I'll be out of
  school, so preferably one with a shorter program that won't take up my
  whole summer.
