[nagdu] Discrimination

Referring to Marion's post on committing the NAGDU hotline to memory, is anybody else bothered by the fact that this even has to be done?
I have very few phone numbers stored in my head, mostly due to the fact that my cell phone stores numbers. So, my point is that a number must both be really important, and be used a whole heck of a lot for me to have it in my head.
Nobody in this day and age should have a need to use NAGDU's hotline that frequently.
See the problem, guys?

Gloria,
I'm curious, why are you worried about this now? Is there a deeper issue?
I ask because it never crossed my mind to worry about this issue. Maybe that was because I was young and niaeve.
Access issues suck, so I'm curious to know why you'd choose to get a dog if this weighs heavily on you.
